Green juicing was something that I always read in health blogs and books. I've always wanted to try it but never had the will power. But this year, I promised myself to have a commitment to my health goals. So now, the juicer has become my top appliance in the kitchen. It was a pretty big step for me as my idea of "healthy" green juice is avocado smoothie with lots and lots of sugar and milk. Not really the healthiest drink.
It took some time before I got used to the taste of my green juice. Drinking my first green juice was weird. I have to say it.
But eventually, I got used to its taste and sometimes I find myself craving for it. It is composed of 1 cucumber, 3 stalks of malunggay and 1/3 head of whole pineapple. No sugar added. Just pure green and fruit juice. Sometimes I add an inch of ginger in it to have a chilling effect on the throat. Now, I'm always high on green juice.
