Fresh Basil Pesto Spaghetti

I love eating pasta and spaghetti and since I intend to eat more healthier dishes, my friend and I decided to make a fresh basil pesto pasta instead of the usual pinoy spaghetti. We put about 1 cup of basil leaves, half a cup of extra virgin olive oil and salt in the blender. Fried some garlic in the pan with some olive oil, then mixed the cooked pasta and blended basil mixture. Then we topped it off with some roasted garlic peanuts. It was a decent basil pasta, kumbaga pwede na rin. My brother even said it was a jologs version of the pasta. Ok lang. Pampabusog na rin :)

3 day juice feast: Day 3

I was not able to finish the day without eating any solid food. I ate rice and fish for dinner. I was just too hungry. I guess I wasn't able to drink enough juice for the day. Well, I'm still proud of myself. I don't think I was a bad first-time juice faster. Next juice fast, I promise to be stricter to myself.  I'll probably do it again next week.



For breakfast, I had avocado and apple smoothie.
