Grace-filled marriage

Boy meets girl. Both wants to get married. Before the wedding, Boy got into a car accident. He had a life-threatening brain injury. He cannot communicate, walk, feed himself or do anything for years. Girl did not leave his side. Both eventually got married.

I am not a cook, but I try

some of the meals I cooked this week
I am not a cook, I am more of an eater. I didn't like entering the kitchen and getting my hands dirty with all the chopping and mixing. Growing up in a family of mostly boys, I was always teased and forced to cook just because I am the only girl in the brood of five. And since, I rebel against any norm that was imposed on me, I intentionally did not learn how to cook during my teen years. Apart from fried egg and adobo, I was useless in the kitchen. I remember how proud I was with my first cooked dish, adobo, even if it had leather consistency.  :))

But now, I am slowly learning to cook dishes that my family would ACTUALLY eat and not just as  first-class dishes given to our dogs. I realized that I have to cook so that I can survive. I also think that cooking is one skill that every person should have. One simply cannot live long enough with just microwave and can opener. And eating out everyday is a ticket to all sorts of diseases. Your body will thank you when you cook at home. It's cheaper and healthier.
